Ingredients
1 tsp whole black peppercorns (1/2 tbsp ground)
2 cinnamon sticks (2 tbsp ground)
2 tbsp ground ginger
6 cardamom pods (1 tbsp ground)
10 whole cloves (1 tbsp ground)
1 whole nutmeg (1/2 tbsp ground)
1-star anise (½ tsp ground)
2 teaspoons of allspice
2 – 3 tablespoons raw cacao powder
Method
Grind whole ingredients in a spice grinder or similar or use the ground spice
Mix in a jar airtight and store for use later
To make selecting your favourite milk heat gently add 1- 2 heaped teaspoon of the chai spice mix simmer and stir for 3 minutes avoid boiling may add a small amount of honey if needed
